“A very interesting and lively presentation that encourages me to live my dreams and achieve my goals.”
On February 28, 2024 three Antarctic travelers told us about their experiences from their perspective, using pictures and videos, which they described verbally so that blind people could imagine what they were talking about. The most important message of this presentation was that without courage, team spirit, physical fitness, and a large dose of dreams, it is not possible to achieve such a goal.
All of the narrators were able to illustrate in a very individual and enthusiastic way what life was like for them, far away from other people, in complete solitude and cold. It wasn’t always easy or pleasant, but pursuing their dreams together gave them the strength and courage to keep going, step by step.
Afterwards, blind students had the opportunity to marvel at and touch the equipment they had brought with them. As a student I found the presentation very interesting and lively. It encourages me to live my dreams and achieve my goals.
